Apple is expected to launch the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max later this year, and new leaks suggest major changes to the display design. One of the biggest highlights is a significantly smaller Dynamic Island, along with other advanced screen upgrades.
According to a leak shared by well-known tipster Ice Universe, the Dynamic Island on the iPhone 18 Pro models will measure 13.49mm in width. This is a noticeable reduction compared to the 20.76mm cutout found on the current iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max.
This change represents a reduction of around 35 percent, signaling a major design shift for Apple’s premium smartphones. Reports suggest that Apple may move some Face ID components under the display, allowing the Dynamic Island to shrink without affecting functionality.
In addition to the redesigned cutout, the iPhone 18 Pro series is rumored to feature LTPO+ OLED displays, which could improve power efficiency, brightness, and overall visual performance.
Apple is also expected to upgrade the front-facing camera across the entire iPhone 18 lineup, indicating a stronger focus on display quality and selfie performance in its next-generation devices.
While Apple has not officially confirmed these details, the leaks point toward a refined design and meaningful display improvements for the iPhone 18 Pro models.
